Job Title: Expert. Radio Access Network Planning

Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective is to Establish a planning process for radio access, assuring end-to-end service
solutions, and applying means and methodologies to achieve technology efficiency and quality while
taking into account future requirements, customer satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness.
Duties & responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage radio network strategies, and architecture development aligned with
Sudatel business needs and strategies in the MBB.
2. Review the development and management of Radio network design to meet the network KPIs
and business targets.
3. Develop and manage Sudatel’s radio access solutions, ensuring new coverage needs are
effectively addressed.
4. Conduct comprehensive planning processes, including requirements collection, RFI, RFP, offer
evaluation, negotiation, contracting, handover to PMO, and delivery tracking for all responsible
domains.
5. Create annual technology plans for Sudatel’s radio access, ensuring alignment with business and
strategic objectives.
6. Develop radio access technology master plans, outlining technology roadmaps, vendor
strategies, estimated investments, delivery programs, and projects, and a comprehensive view of
the business and network situation before and after implementation.
7. Prepare and submit necessary documentation to obtain solution approvals in accordance with
organizational policies.
8. Ensure final designs and solutions meet performance, capacity, operability, and other pre-stated
requirements.
9. Guarantee that the final deliverables of solutions meet the set objectives.
10.Conduct professional vendor management during the planning process to ensure the
confidentiality of Sudatel’s properties.
11. Support the re-planning of existing resources or ongoing projects to ensure optimal utilization.
12.Maintain tracking of inventory and network utilization.
13.Coordinate with various teams and sections to ensure effective service realization.
14. Provide support to operations and service assurance teams on critical issues.
15.Monitor technology innovations, state-of-the-art solutions, trends, and vendor product roadmaps
to enhance the integration of new technologies into Sudatel’s network.
16. Keep track of the status of network components, including software and hardware releases,
features, and license issues (EOS, EOM, EOL, etc.).
17.Develop the annual CAPEX budget for radio networks.

3. Mobile Standards and Specifications: Comprehensive knowledge of mobile standards,
specifications, and applications.
4. Mobile Broadband Technologies: Proficient in mobile broadband technologies, deployment
models, and service requirements.
5. Network Management Systems: Expertise in radio management systems, NMS, DCN,
synchronization, network topologies, and main characteristics and services.
6. Planning Tools: Familiarity with Google Earth, GIS applications, and mobile planning tools (e.g.,
Atoll).
Qualifications required:
Education:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Telecom engineering, electrical, or electronics.
Experience:
▪ 5 years’ experience in radio access network planning.
Languages:
▪ Fluent in English/Arabic (Written& Spoken)
