Main Job Purpose:
The Primary objective of this role is to manage trade finance operations to ensure effective financing
strategies, compliance with banking practices, and smooth transactional processes. The role oversees cash
flow planning, cost control, and performance monitoring to optimize financial efficiency. Additionally, it
builds strong relationships with banking partners, reviews critical documents, and drives process
improvements to support operational continuity and strategic objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Implement financing strategies to ensure trades are financed effectively and in line with operational
needs.
2. Track compliance with bank covenants, banking practices, and restricted trade policies to maintain
strong financial relationships.
3. Manage relationships with bankers and relevant stakeholders to support the smooth operation of
the Trade Finance section.
4. Review weekly cash flow plans and reports prepared by the team and recommend necessary actions
to management.
5. Prepare and share quarterly performance packs with banks to provide transparency and strengthen
relationships.
6. Control costs and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve financial efficiency and
operational effectiveness.
7. Review trade, investment, and finance documents to verify compliance with internal policies and
external requirements.
8. Monitor trade clearing and settlement processes to confirm timely account updates and smooth
fund transfers.
9. Handle daily transactional requirements for trade finance applications to ensure accuracy and
timeliness.
10. Apply control measures to maintain adherence to corporate regulations and reduce compliance
risks.
11. Coordinate the use of trade, investment, and finance facilities to improve financial efficiency and
resource utilization.
12. Respond to banking queries promptly to maintain trust and operational continuity.
13. Monitor and improve system and process compliance to ensure alignment with internal policies and
support continuous improvement.
14. Monitor and develop operational workflows to ensure smooth and cost-effective treasury
operations.
15. Support on-the-job training and participate in performance evaluations to enhance team capability.
16. Monitor technology trends and suggest improvements that can enhance productivity and
innovation.

Qualifications:
Education A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience
6-8 years of experience with at least 3 years in the Trade Finance field, and 2+ years in
managerial role.
Certificates Relevant certifications, such as CPA or CMA, or equivalent, are preferred.
Language Fluency in English (written & spoken).
