Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to design and optimize advanced IP/MPLS and Internet Gateway
architectures to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance network solutions. This role involves leading
the planning and resource allocation to ensure business continuity and enable future growth. Additionally,
champion vendor engagement and technology innovation to implement cutting-edge solutions that elevate
service quality, maximize operational efficiency, and strengthen network resilience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute IP/MPLS, IPRAN, Internet Gateway, and CDN strategies, ensuring cost-effective
infrastructure expansion and optimization.
2. Design and architect advanced IP domain technologies to enable seamless integration, enhance
capacity, and elevate service quality.
3. Direct the IP domain budget and implement the IP Network Evolution Plan to align with strategic
organizational objectives.
4. Oversee resource allocation and utilization of routers, switches, and interfaces across MPLS, IPRAN,
DNS, and Internet Gateway to maintain peak performance.
5. Lead planning and review sessions with vendors, aligning delivery roadmaps with technical
requirements and business priorities.
6. Monitor project milestones, manage escalations, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely
and successful delivery.
7. Identify and mitigate risks and vulnerabilities across IP/MPLS networks, reinforcing resilience and
security.
8. Drive high-level and low-level design (HLD & LLD) processes, validate BOQs, and ensure technical
accuracy in collaboration with vendors.
9. Analyze KPIs for IP networks, Internet Gateway, DNS, and CDN caches, and execute optimization
initiatives to sustain superior performance.
10. Guide technology and vendor selection processes, including RFPs, POCs, and contract negotiations,
ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
11. Champion knowledge transfer, develop documentation, and mentor team members to strengthen
internal technical capabilities.
12. Prepare and manage annual budgets and operational plans, ensuring financial efficiency and
alignment with organizational priorities.

4. Vendor Management: Leads vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance reviews to
ensure delivery of high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
5. Risk Management: Identifies and mitigates risks across the IP domain, ensuring network resilience,
security, and compliance with standards.
6. Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Analyzes KPIs and implements improvements to maintain
optimal performance across IP, DNS, and CDN systems.
Qualifications:
Education A bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or other
related fields.
Experience
• 6–8 years of progressive experience in IP network planning, optimization, and
architecture design.
• Proven track record in vendor management, CAPEX planning, and high-level design
(HLD & LLD).
Certificates
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) | Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) |
Project Management Professional (PMP) | Cloud Networking Certifications (AWS Advanced
Networking or Azure Network Engineer) are preferred.
Language Fluency in English language (Written & spoken).
