Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to analyze and optimize the Core Packet Switching (PS) network. This
role involves ensuring the reliable delivery of mobile internet and data services, developing and
implementing integration, maintenance, and enhancement activities across LTE, VoLTE, and emerging 5G
technologies. Additionally, evaluate network performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to
resolve service-impacting issues, contributing to improved customer experience and operational efficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and maintain the health and performance of Core PS elements (SGSN, GGSN, MME, SGW,
PGW) to ensure uninterrupted service delivery and network stability.
2. Analyze fault logs and performance metrics to proactively identify and resolve network issues,
minimizing service disruptions.
3. Troubleshoot subscriber-level problems such as attach failures, session drops, and degraded data
speeds to enhance user experience and service reliability.
4. Implement service provisioning, parameter tuning, and configuration changes across PS nodes to
support evolving network requirements and improve operational efficiency.
5. Configure APN setups, data bearers, QoS profiles, roaming parameters, and policy rules to ensure
optimal service performance and compliance with standards.
6. Support the integration of new nodes and features (e.g., GGSN/PGW instances, VoLTE, NB-IoT) into
the live network, ensuring seamless deployment and minimal impact.

7. Participate in the rollout of new technologies (e.g., VoLTE, 5G NSA/SA), expansions, and upgrades to
enhance network capabilities and future readiness.
8. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to execute network transformation and modernization
projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines.
9. Collaborate with IP, RAN, Transmission, IT, VAS, RA, and Security teams to maintain service quality
and resolve cross-domain issues effectively.
10. Engage with Customer Care and Business teams to address and resolve escalated service-impacting
issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
11. Document all technical changes, configurations, and network diagrams to maintain accurate records
and support operational transparency.
12. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, internal security policies, and service-level
agreements to uphold network integrity and governance.

2. Troubleshooting & Fault Analysis: Applies structured diagnostic techniques to identify, analyze, and
resolve network faults and performance issues efficiently.
3. Service Provisioning & Configuration Management: Implements and manages APNs, QoS profiles,
roaming parameters, and policy rules to ensure optimal service delivery.
4. Project Management: Supports planning, execution, and coordination of network transformation
projects, ensuring timely delivery, resource alignment, and adherence to technical requirements.
5. Network Performance Monitoring: Utilizes monitoring tools and performance metrics to assess
network health, detect anomalies, and recommend improvements.
6. Documentation & Compliance: Maintains accurate technical documentation and ensures
adherence to regulatory standards, security policies, and SLAs.
Qualifications:
Education
• A bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or
Computer Science.
• A master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
Experience
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Core Packet Switching (PS) network operations,
integration, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience with LTE/4G, VoLTE, and emerging 5G technologies.
• Experience working with multi-vendor environments and cross-functional teams.
Certificates Cisco CCNP|Nokia NRS|Huawei HCIP|Project Management certification (e.g., PMP or
PRINCE2) is preferred.
Language Fluency in English language (Written & Spoken).
