Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to execute trade finance operations accurately and efficiently to support
the organization’s import and export activities while maintaining financial control and compliance. The role
applies trade finance knowledge to process transactions, review documentation, monitor banking facilities, and
maintain accurate financial records. Through effective coordination with banks and internal teams, along with
timely reconciliation and reporting, the role directly contributes to minimizing financial risk, improving
transaction reliability, and supporting smooth trade operations that enable the organization’s business
activities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Manage end-to-end trade finance operations, including Letters of Credit (LCs), documentary
collections, and bank guarantees, ensuring timely processing, amendments, and settlements in line
with approved banking terms.
2. Execute end-to-end trade finance transactions, including Letters of Credit (LCs), documentary

3. Review shipping, commercial, and financial documents to ensure compliance with contract terms and
international trade regulations, resolving discrepancies with banks, suppliers, and related
stakeholders.
4. Coordinate with banks, suppliers, shipping agents, and internal departments to facilitate document
clearance, financing arrangements, and smooth execution of import/export transactions.
5. Monitor utilization of approved banking facilities, financing limits, maturity schedules, and outstanding
obligations while preparing reports on exposures, costs, and settlement commitments.
6. Support negotiations with local and offshore banks on financing structures, pricing, and trade
settlement terms to improve operational efficiency and optimize banking relationships.
7. Execute reconciliation of all trade finance transactions between bank statements, internal transaction
records, and company books to ensure accuracy and completeness.
8. Record trade finance transactions in ERP systems, including journal entries and transaction bookings.
9. Coordinate with finance and reconciliation teams to investigate variances, clear pending items, and
ensure timely closure of bank reconciliations, outstanding entries, and ledger balances.
10. Apply trade finance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in daily operations.
11. Support process improvements in trade finance operations and documentation workflows.

commercial, financial) and identify discrepancies against LC terms and agreements.
3. Trade Finance Reconciliation & Financial Control: Ability to reconcile trade finance transactions
between bank statements and internal records and resolve variances.
4. Banking Facilities Monitoring & Exposure Management: Capability to monitor utilization of credit
facilities, financing limits, and maturity schedules.
5. ERP Processing & Financial Data Management: Ability to record, track, and maintain trade finance
transactions in ERP systems aligned with accounting standards.
6. Trade Finance Coordination & Compliance Application: Ability to coordinate with banks and
internal teams while applying trade finance regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a
related field.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in trade finance, treasury operations, banking, or financial
operations.
Certificates CDCS/CITF preferred
Language Fluency in English (Written & spoken).
