Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to provide advanced budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
that supports informed decision-making and enables the achievement of marketing and revenue objectives.
The role develops financial forecasts, analyzes business performance, monitors budget utilization, and
evaluates revenue trends to provide actionable insights to management. Through financial modeling, KPI
analysis, and decision-support reporting, the role directly contributes to improved forecasting accuracy,
optimized marketing investments, enhanced financial performance, and the achievement of commercial
growth objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Execute the end-to-end tracking of marketing budgets, ensuring adherence to fiscal targets and
identifying variances.
2. Collaborate with the Finance team to align marketing expenses with corporate financial reporting
cycles.
3. Conduct deep-dive variance analysis on actual versus budget, providing timely recommendations for
corrective actions.
4. Conduct periodic revenue forecasting and reforecasting activities using agreed methodologies.
5. Develop and refine dynamic revenue models that account for subscriber growth, ARPU, bundle
elasticity, and external economic factors such as exchange rate volatility.
6. Proactively identify potential revenue risks and opportunities to support agile decision-making.
7. Own the tracking, calculation, and reporting of critical marketing KPIs (e.g., CAC, LTV, Churn, Gross Add,
Bundle Penetration, ..).
8. Develop and maintain automated performance dashboards that offer clear visibility into campaign
ROI and daily marketing revenue trends.
9. Analyze performance anomalies—such as post-holiday revenue shifts or regional dips—to provide
actionable insights to the Senior Manager.
10. Translate complex data sets (including CDRs and financial reports) into concise executive briefings
for the CMO and senior leadership.
11. Provide regular reporting on total monthly performance versus budget targets, highlighting
variances and forecasting month-end outcomes.
Behavioral Competencies:
1. Communication: The skill to synthesize complex financial datasets into clear, actionable narratives
for the CMO and senior leadership without oversimplifying the underlying data.
2. Collaboration: Proven effectiveness in working with diverse teams—such as the Finance, Pricing,
and Market Intelligence teams—to gather data and align on budgetary targets.
3. Analytical Thinking: The ability to move quickly between “big picture” strategy and the granular,
technical details of CDRs and revenue logs without losing accuracy.
4. Proactive Problem-Solving: The tendency to identify potential revenue or budget risks (e.g.,
negative variances) before they are flagged by senior leadership, accompanied by proposed
mitigation strategies.
5. Attention to Detail: An uncompromising commitment to data integrity, ensuring that all financial
reporting and forecasts are consistent, audited, and error-free.
6. Getting Things Done: Prioritizes actions, follows through on commitments, and delivers results
within agreed timelines.
Technical Competencies:
1. Advanced Financial Modeling: Mastery of Excel (and potentially other tools) to build complex 4+8
or 6+6 revenue re-forecasting models, incorporating sensitivity analysis for currency and market
shifts.
2. Database Querying (SQL): Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and
manipulate massive volumes of subscriber, revenue, and recharge data directly from company
systems.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting: Strong command of financial planning, budget tracking, and reforecasting.
4. Marketing KPI Architecture: A deep, functional understanding of how to define, calculate, and
interpret core telecom KPIs (e.g., CAC, LTV, Churn, ARPU, Bundle Penetration) and their relationship
to revenue health.
5. Data Visualization & Reporting: Excellent use of BI tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau) to create
automated, real-time dashboards that provide executive-level visibility into daily marketing
performance.
6. Market Intelligence & Trend Analysis: The ability to perform competitive benchmarking and apply
statistical methods to predict future subscriber behavior based on historical trends.
Qualifications:
Education
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data
Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience
2-3 years of experience in Telecom or ICT marketing, with a specialization in financial
modeling, budgeting, or market intelligence.

Professional certifications in Financial Planning & Analysis and Management Accounting
are preferred, such as FPAC, CMA, or FMVA. Certifications in Power BI, Advanced Excel,
SQL, or Data Analytics are considered an advantage.
