Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to support the delivery of reliable power infrastructure by applying
engineering principles in the design, testing, and execution of power projects. The role contributes directly to
project success by developing compliant electrical designs, supporting testing and commissioning, resolving
technical issues, and coordinating with project teams. Through disciplined engineering execution,
documentation, and collaboration, the role helps the organization deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality power
solutions that support operational continuity and customer requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Implement electrical designs for motors, generators, and related power equipment in line with IS/IEC
standards and project specifications.
2. Prepare standard and non-standard acceptance test procedures and support test execution to validate
performance of electrical systems.
3. Analyze routine design, installation, or manufacturing issues and propose corrective actions or escalate
complex concerns to senior engineers.
4. Document electrical designs, calculations, standards, and procedures using approved templates and
engineering practices.
5. Prepare time, material, and cost estimates and provide technical inputs to support planning and
budgeting activities.
6. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to align technical execution with
project schedules.
7. Apply safety practices and statutory requirements during design activities and site involvement.
8. Review mechanical interfaces and bill of materials and contribute solutions to address manufacturing
concerns.
9. Apply approved engineering standards, procedures, and project controls during task execution under
supervision.
10. Contribute ideas and technical improvements related to design efficiency, testing practices, or project
execution.
11. Support commissioning, inspection, or site verification activities for power installations when required.
12. Assist in investigating deviations observed during testing, commissioning, or early operation of power
systems.

systems for motors, generators, and associated power equipment in accordance with IS/IEC
standards.
2. Acceptance Testing & Validation: Prepares and executes standard and non-standard acceptance
test procedures to verify electrical system performance and compliance.
3. Power Engineering Issue Analysis & Troubleshooting: Analyzes design, manufacturing, or
installation issues related to power systems and proposes corrective actions or escalation paths.
4. Engineering Documentation & Standardization: Develops and maintains technical documentation
such as electrical drawings, calculations, test procedures, standards, and templates.
5. Project Engineering Support & Cost Estimation: Provides technical inputs for project planning by
preparing time, material, and cost estimates and supporting scheduling activities.
6. Safety, Standards & Regulatory Compliance: Applies applicable electrical codes, safety practices,
and statutory requirements during design work and site involvement.
Qualifications:
Education A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience 0-1 years of experience in power engineering or project support roles.
Certificates Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is preferred.
Language Intermediate proficiency in English (written and spoken)
