Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to manage and oversee the Power Technical Support workshops
(mechanical, electrical, air conditioning and provide technical support for deployment, planning, field
operations) to ensure reliable operation of telecom power systems through effective management,
preventive maintenance plans, and rehabilitation projects. The role also involves driving team development,
optimizing resources, and collaborating across departments to enhance power system reliability and
support organizational objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Manage the mechanical, HVAC and electrical workshops to deliver reliable technical power support and
meet operational KPIs.
2. Implement advanced preventive and predictive maintenance operational plans to minimize downtime
and optimize power system reliability.
3. Coordinate rehabilitation and overhauling projects for diesel generators and cooling systems, ensuring
timely completion and quality standards.
4. Supervise technical teams, provide guidance and feedback to achieve performance objectives and
maintain compliance.
5. Monitor power system performance and maintenance activities, preparing monthly reports for senior
management.
6. Evaluate technical processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce
operational costs.
7. Guide team development through sharing knowledge and mentorship to build technical capability.
8. Collaborate with planning, deployment, and regional teams to resolve technical challenges and support
network reliability.
9. Prepare and manage the annual technical support budget, optimizing resource allocation and cost
control.
10. Participate in procurement processes by providing technical evaluations for spare parts and equipment.
11. Conduct audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and operational standards.
12. Communicate objectives, progress, and technical updates to stakeholders for informed decision-making.

Qualifications:
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Power, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A
master’s degree is preferred.
Experience
6-8 years of experience in power systems maintenance and technical support, including
+2 years in a managerial role within telecom or similar industries.
Certificates
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) | OSHA Certification | Project
Management Professional (PMP) are preferred.
Language Fluency in English (Written & spoken).
