Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to assist in identifying, analyzing, and monitoring operational, financial,
and strategic risks. This role involves contributing to the implementation of risk processes and tools that
enhance visibility and ensure alignment with established frameworks. Additionally, prepare risk reports,
maintain risk documentation, and support continuity planning activities to strengthen organizational
resilience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential threats that
may impact business operations.
2. Maintain and update the corporate risk register with accurate information, ensuring timely tracking
of mitigation activities.
3. Monitor the progress of risk mitigation plans and highlight delays or issues to the Senior Manager
for escalation.
4. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation, risk data, and evidence
of control effectiveness.
5. Track emerging risks, regulatory updates, and market developments to support proactive risk
identification and reporting.
6. Assist in preparing risk dashboards, reports, and presentations that summarize key risk indicators
and trends for management.
7. Participate in Business Impact Analysis (BIA) activities by collecting data, documenting findings, and
performing initial assessments.
8. Support business continuity and disaster recovery exercises by coordinating required inputs and
assisting in test execution.
9. Facilitate basic risk awareness activities to promote understanding of risk processes across business
units.
10. Document risk-related findings, evidence, and actions in accordance with established frameworks
and guidelines.

1. Risk Management Frameworks: Demonstrates the ability to apply established risk management
frameworks by conducting structured qualitative and quantitative assessments and interpreting risk
data to support sound decision‑making.
2. Business Continuity Planning (BCP) & Business Impact Analysis (BIA): Understands core business
continuity principles and effectively supports BIA activities by gathering information, analyzing
operational impacts, and assisting in the development and testing of continuity procedures.
3. Risk Analysis & Control Mechanisms: Displays the ability to identify and analyze operational,
financial, and strategic risks and contributes to implementing appropriate control measures that
enhance organizational risk mitigation.
4. Corporate Risk Governance & Compliance: Demonstrates an understanding of governance
principles and compliance requirements and supports monitoring activities to ensure alignment with
internal policies and external regulations.
5. Project Risk Management: Applies risk management concepts within project environments by
analyzing project risks, tracking mitigation progress, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date risk
documentation.
6. Regulatory Risk & Market Compliance: Maintains up-to-date awareness of regulatory obligations
and market developments and assists in monitoring compliance to prevent breaches and ensure
alignment with industry standards.
7. Risk Modeling & Analysis Tools: Effectively uses analytical tools—including Excel, dashboards, and
basic modeling techniques to interpret risk data, visualize patterns, and support data‑driven
reporting.
Qualifications:
Education A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Telecom Engineering,
Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplines.
Experience 0-1 years of experience in risk management, preferably in the telecommunications
industry.
Certificates
ISO 31000 Risk Management – Foundation or Practitioner Level| ISO 22301 Business
Continuity Management – Foundation Is preferred.
Language Fluency in English (written & spoken).
