Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to support the development of reporting and visualization solutions,
transforming data into clear, usable dashboards and reports. This role assists in ensuring data accuracy and
usability to help stakeholders make informed decisions. It also contributes to a data-driven culture and
enhances the organization’s ability to act on timely information.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Execute advanced dashboards and reports using visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to provide
stakeholders with timely, accurate, and actionable insights.
2. Assist in translating business requirements into clear technical specifications, ensuring that reporting
solutions align with strategic objectives and user needs.
3. Support the design and maintenance of scalable, well-structured data models that enable efficient
reporting structures, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and performance.
4. Collaborate with data engineering and cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, finance, sales,
operations, network) to understand key metrics and contribute to impactful reporting solutions.
5. Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure the reliability and integrity of reports and
dashboards.
6. Update and maintain existing reports and visualizations for usability, performance, and clarity,
incorporating user feedback to enhance effectiveness and ensure alignment with evolving business
needs.
7. Document report logic, data definitions, and processes to ensure transparency, maintainability, and
scalability of reporting assets.
8. Track the implementation of reporting solutions and monitor performance to ensure alignment with
business expectations.
9. Contribute to the preparation of reporting templates and visualization standards to support consistency
across teams.
10. Report progress on assigned tasks and escalate issues or delays to the Reporting & Visualization
Development Manager.

Technical Competencies:
1. Data Visualization & DAX (Power BI): Proficiency in Power BI to design and develop interactive
dashboards and reports. Strong knowledge of DAX for creating complex calculated columns and
measures to ensure accurate and meaningful business metrics in the reports.
2. SQL & Data Modelling: Proficient in SQL (including T.SQL and PL/SQL) for querying and managing
data, and applying data modelling techniques (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema) to create scalable
and efficient reporting structures.
3. ETL & ELT Processes: Experience in designing, developing, and implementing ETL and ELT processes
using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Python for scripting, automating data processes,
enhancing data transformations, and cloud platforms like Azure Data Factory.
4. Data Lake & Data Warehousing: Understanding of Data Lake and Data Warehousing concepts and
platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics) for managing structured, semi-structured, and unstructured
data for analytical purposes.
5. Statistical & Quantitative Analysis: Experience with statistical analysis and quantitative
methods using tools like Python (SciPy, pandas) for extracting insights and driving data-driven
decisions.
6. Data Governance & Troubleshooting: Knowledge of data governance policies for maintaining data
integrity and versioning in pipelines. Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues
across data pipelines and reporting systems.
Qualifications:
Education
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, Software
Engineering, or a closely related field.
Experience
0-1 years of experience in data visualization, reporting development, and ETL processes,
with hands-on experience using Power BI and SQL, is required.
Certificates Relevant certifications in the field are preferred.
Language Fluency in English (written & spoken).
