Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to maintain and optimize the performance of power equipment at
data centers and core sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role
involves providing technical support and supervising maintenance activities to achieve field maintenance
KPIs. Additionally, the role is crucial in ensuring high power availability, enhancing operational efficiency,
and supporting the organization’s mission of delivering reliable services.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Maintain equipment to operate correctly, adhere to safety regulations, and meet quality
benchmarks, ensuring compliance and optimal performance.
2. Oversee the operation and maintenance of transformers, generators, panels, ATS, UPS, STS,
rectifiers, PDUs, and air conditioning systems to ensure a reliable power supply and system stability.
3. Oversee HVAC (CRAC and Chiller), plumbing, ventilation, hydraulic systems, and generators to
maintain efficient and safe mechanical system operations.
4. Develop work plans, safety guidelines, and maintenance requirements to ensure adherence to
technical criteria and international standards.
5. Assure compliance with technical criteria, international standards, and safety guidelines to uphold
high operational and safety standards.
6. Engage in configuration management to maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring precise
engineering documentation.
7. Support the development of safety, security, and quality assurance standards to enhance safety and
quality across operations.
8. Review and implement maintenance procedures for quality and cost-effectiveness to minimize
downtime and optimize maintenance processes.
9. Create and oversee preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment lifespan and prevent unexpected
failures.
10. Oversee technicians to ensure completion of duties, ensure high-quality maintenance work, and team
efficiency.
11. Enhance both performance and cost efficiency to achieve superior operational effectiveness and cost savings.
12. Develop annual budgets for operations and maintenance, including spare parts, to ensure financial planning
aligns with operational needs.
13. Design and implement training programs to improve technician skills and knowledge.
14. Manage OWS, Neteco, and BMS operations and reporting to ensure seamless operation and accurate
reporting of power systems.
15. Ensure proper functioning of facilities with administration support to maintain a well-functioning and
supportive facility environment.
16. Assist in planning and deployment activities to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.

performance.
5. Huawei Expertise: Operate and maintain Huawei power devices, including UPSs, rectifiers, solar
systems, and cooling systems.
6. Automation Systems: Knowledge of OWS, Neteco, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
Qualifications:
Education A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
Experience
2-3 years of experience in relevant fields.
Experience with power equipment design, operation, and maintenance.
Experience with power system equipment controls and monitoring
Experience and Knowledge of Air conditioning systems, especially CRAC Units.
Certificates Huawei Power Systems Certifications are preferred.
Language Fluency in English and Arabic (Written& Spoken).
