Job Title Business Development Project Advisor

Report To Senior Chief Business Development Officer
Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to drive company growth by identifying new market opportunities,
building client partnerships, and managing strategic initiatives from conception to execution. The role also
ensures effective execution of key projects by monitoring performance, assessing risks, and coordinating
cross-functional efforts to maintain alignment and delivery. Ultimately, through clear, data-driven analysis
and reporting, it enables the Senior management to make timely, informed decisions that enhance the
Group’s competitiveness.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate the feasibility, financial returns, and strategic value of proposed projects, partnerships, and
initiatives to enable stronger investment choices.
2. Analyze telecom market dynamics, customer trends, and competitive activities to highlight
opportunities and risks to support strategic decision-making.
3. Develop business cases, financial models, and feasibility studies for new ventures and strategic
programs to ensure alignment with Sudatel’s growth agenda.
4. Monitor project progress, KPIs, budgets, and risks, recommending corrective actions to ensure timely,
on-budget project delivery.
5. Assess emerging telecom technologies and regional digital developments to support innovation and
guide investment decisions.
6. Coordinate cross-functional teams (Technology, Finance, Wholesale, Marketing, Regulatory) to
support effective development and execution of Business Development initiatives.
7. Support negotiations through preparing comparative analyses, commercial models, and risk
assessments to strengthen Sudatel’s position.
8. Review project proposals, governance documents, scopes, and implementation plans to ensure
compliance with internal policies and telecom regulations.
9. Advise senior leadership on project performance, risk exposure, and opportunity prioritization based
on continuous monitoring and analysis.
10. Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations to support Business Development
strategic decision-making.
11. Mentor and coach junior business development and project team members by sharing expertise to Enhanced
team capability

Qualifications:
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Telecommunication, or a related field; A
related master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
Experience
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in business development, telecom projects, and
financial/markets analysis.
• Experience conducting feasibility assessments, building business cases, and evaluating
partnerships in a telecom environment.
Certificates
Relevant certifications, such as PMP| and Certified Telecommunication Project
Management (CTPM), are preferred.
Language Fluency in English (written & spoken); French is preferred.
