Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of the transmission
network through comprehensive maintenance and effective problem-solving. This role involves preparing
and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, conducting acceptance tests for new
transmission devices, and managing technical documentation and stock management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Perform all on-site maintenance activities for the transmission network.
2. Prepare and implement preventive and advanced maintenance tasks in the transmission network.
3. Conduct work quantity schedules and plan for the rehabilitation of the transmission network,
ensuring follow-up on implementation.
4. Carry out acceptance tests for new transmission devices.
5. Actively participate in identifying the needs and specifications for materials, devices, and tools. 6.
Collaborate with and mentor the field workers to improve their technical skills (TX & FIBER).
6. Maintain adequate quantities of transmission spare parts and manage the transmission stock.
7. Document all technical work information using specialized devices and equipment. 9. Prepare
necessary technical plans, including maintenance plan, schedule, and reports.
8. Analyze fault causes and develop appropriate solutions to prevent recurrence.
9. Resolve transmission network issues within the Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).

Technical Competencies:
1. Proficiency with Transmission Measuring Devices: Expertise in operating specialized devices such
as multi-function loss testers, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and OTDRs.
2. Knowledge of National Transmission Network Devices: Comprehensive experience with Huawei
WDM devices, including OTN 8800, 9800, and OSN series (1500, 2500, 3500, 7500, 1800), and
transmission components, including cards, backplanes, and signal flow diagrams.
3. Local Access to Transmission Network: Skilled in accessing transmission networks through navigator
tools and web-based management platforms.
4. Knowledge of Huawei NCE Transmission System: Proficient in managing and operating Huawei NCE
transmission management systems.
5. Transmission Network Topology Expertise: Strong transmission and fiber network topology
knowledge, including regional or equivalent systems.
6. Knowledge of National Fiber Network Activities: Solid understanding of fiber network activities,
including planning, operations, and maintenance.
7. Expertise in Transmission Equipment Hardware: Skilled in implementing and analyzing transmission
equipment hardware, including signal flow management.
Qualifications:
Education A bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience 1-3 years in transmission network maintenance and operation.

Language Fluency in English (written & spoken).
