Main Job Purpose:
The primary purpose of this role is to support the network reliability and operational continuity by
performing preventive and corrective maintenance on outdoor and indoor radio and transmission
equipment, troubleshooting power system faults, and installations. This role directly supports service
stability and customer satisfaction through accurate reporting, resource handling, and adherence to safety
standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance over OWS on radio and transmission systems to
maintain site reliability and minimize downtime.
2. Troubleshoot and repair faults in outdoor and indoor radio and transmission systems using diagnostic
tools to restore service promptly.
3. Monitor and record radio and transmission equipment status through daily and weekly checklists to
support operational continuity.
4. Operate and calibrate radio and transmission testing devices to validate system performance and
compliance with technical standards.
5. Assist in installation and commissioning of radio and transmission equipment under guidance to support
site upgrades and expansions.
6. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and inventory to support audits and
resource planning.
7. Escalate unresolved or complex issues to senior engineers for advanced troubleshooting and system
modifications.

8. Apply health and safety protocols during all maintenance tasks to prevent hazards and ensure
compliance.
9. Assist in emergency repair operations to restore service quickly during outages.
10. Participate in technical audits and compliance checks to maintain operational standards.

1. Radio & DC Power Systems Maintenance: Ability to perform routine and emergency maintenance
on BTS, Transmission equipment, and associated power systems under supervision.
2. Troubleshooting & Repair: Skilled in diagnosing and repairing minor faults in radio and transmission
systems using standard tools and procedures.
3. Preventive Maintenance Execution: Competence in carrying out scheduled PM tasks to maintain
site reliability and reduce downtime.
4. Trouble Ticket Documentation: Proficiency in updating and documenting maintenance activities
and resolutions in systems like OWS for transparency and tracking.
5. Safety & Compliance Adherence: Knowledge of health and safety protocols and ability to apply them
during field operations.
6. Inventory & Resource Handling: Ability to maintain accurate records of tools, spare parts, and
equipment to support operational readiness.
Qualifications:
Education A college diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
1–3 years of experience in radio field operations, including preventive and corrective
maintenance for BTS sites and up-tower equipment installation and maintenance.
Certificates HSE certification.
Language Intermediate in English (Written & Spoken).
