Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to support wireless network reliability by executing preventive and
corrective maintenance, troubleshooting faults, and assisting in site upgrades. Through accurate
documentation, performance monitoring, and collaboration with senior engineers, this role directly
contributes to service continuity, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Implement preventive and corrective maintenance for wireless systems (BTS, NodeB, eNodeB) to
maintain site availability and reduce downtime.
2. Troubleshoot basic faults in radio equipment and transmission links, restoring service promptly
under supervision.
3. Test wireless equipment functionality after maintenance or upgrades to confirm compliance with
SLA and KPI standards.
4. Analyze alarm logs and performance data to identify anomalies and report findings for corrective
action.
5. Update trouble tickets and maintenance records in OWS to maintain accurate documentation and
support timely issues of closure.
6. Assist in site integration and configuration tasks during new deployments or technology upgrades.
7. Coordinate with senior engineers and technicians during emergency repairs to restore service
quickly.
8. Prepare reports on maintenance activities and resource usage for review by senior professionals.
9. Monitor fuel and power supply levels at wireless sites to support uninterrupted operations.
10. Follow safety protocols during all field activities to minimize risk and maintain compliance.

Technical Competencies:
1. Wireless Systems Maintenance: Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on BTS,
NodeB, and eNodeB equipment to maintain network reliability.
2. Troubleshooting & Fault Diagnosis: Skilled in identifying and resolving basic faults in radio and
transmission systems using standard diagnostic tools.
3. Site Integration & Configuration: Competence in assisting with installation, configuration, and
testing of wireless equipment during new deployments or upgrades.
4. Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Proficiency in using network management tools (e.g., U2020,
OWS) to monitor KPIs and report anomalies for corrective action.
5. Technical Documentation & Reporting: Ability to accurately update trouble tickets and prepare
maintenance reports to support operational transparency.
6. Safety & Compliance Adherence: Knowledge of telecom safety standards and ability to apply them
during field operations to minimize risk.
Qualifications:
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related
fields.
Experience
0-2 years of experience in wireless network maintenance, troubleshooting, and site
integration.
Certificates
Huawei Certified Network Associate (HCNA) | Certified Wireless Network Administrator
(CWNA) | ITIL Foundation Certification | HSE certification preferred.
Language Intermediate in English (Written & spoken).
