Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to support the operation and maintenance of power systems by
performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting in installations. This role
also contributes to energy optimization, safety compliance, and accurate documentation while
collaborating with technical teams to ensure reliable site performance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on power systems and site equipment to maintain
operational reliability and reduce downtime.
2. Troubleshoot minor technical issues using standard testing tools and escalate complex problems to
senior engineers for resolution.
3. Assist in implementing energy-efficient practices by applying approved methods to optimize power
consumption at sites.
4. Install and configure basic power components such as batteries, rectifiers, and UPS units under
supervision to support system functionality.
5. Test power systems and document results to verify performance against operational standards and
update maintenance records.
6. Track fuel usage and equipment performance by completing daily and weekly checklists to support
accurate reporting.
7. Maintain and protect tools and testing equipment to ensure availability and prevent damage or loss.
8. Report unresolved faults promptly to technical support, providing clear details for advanced
troubleshooting or system modifications.
9. Comply with health and safety protocols by conducting risk assessments, following procedures, and
using appropriate PPE.
10. Collaborate with field teams during maintenance and installation activities to ensure timely completion
of tasks.
11. Support technical projects by assisting in preparation, execution, and testing phases under guidance.
12. Document maintenance activities accurately in logs and systems to maintain traceability and
compliance.

standard tools and escalating complex problems appropriately.
4. Installation Support: Ability to assist in installing and configuring basic power components such as
rectifiers, batteries, and wiring according to instructions.
5. Testing and Documentation: Proficient in using testing equipment to verify system performance and
accurately document maintenance activities.
6. Safety and Compliance Application: Applies health and safety protocols consistently during
maintenance and installation activities to prevent hazards.
Qualifications:
Education
A college diploma or a Vocational and Technical school’s degree in Telecommunications,
power electrical engineering, engineering, or a related field.
Experience
1-4 years of experience in power operations, maintenance, or related technical support
roles.
Language Intermediate in English (Written& Spoken).
