Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to contribute to ensuring the successful delivery of telecom civil
infrastructure projects. This role involves assisting in executing civil works in alignment with engineering
standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. The role contributes to the organization’s network
expansion by overseeing construction activities such as excavation, ducting, foundations, and structural
installations. Additionally, supports high-quality project implementation through effective coordination
with design teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Moreover, ensure that all civil works are executed
efficiently, safely, and in compliance with approved technical specifications.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Assist in reviewing civil designs and construction drawings for telecom excavation, concrete works,
foundations, steel structures, and fencing, ensuring technical accuracy and feasibility.
2. Execute on-site civil work activities, maintaining compliance with engineering standards and project
specifications.
3. Coordinate with design teams, contractors, suppliers, and government entities to facilitate smooth
project execution and regulatory alignment.
4. Conduct site surveys and analyze proposed infrastructure locations to support planning and design
decisions.
5. Prepare technical reports and progress updates to inform management and support project tracking.
6. Implement and monitor safety plans and quality control measures to ensure safe and high-quality
execution throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Review and validate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and civil work invoices to support accurate cost
tracking and financial reporting.
8. Assist in developing budget estimates for civil infrastructure projects to support financial planning
and resource allocation.
9. Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams to resolve field issues and ensure
continuity of service.
10. Monitor contractor performance and compliance with contractual obligations, technical
specifications, and safety standards, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of deviations to
maintain project integrity.
11. Support the continuous improvement of civil work processes by identifying recurring issues,
proposing corrective actions, and contributing to updates of construction guidelines, workflows, and
best-practice procedures.

Technical Competencies:
1 Telecom Site Construction Specifications: Solid understanding of structural requirements for towers,
shelters, foundations, and support infrastructure in telecom environments.
2 Engineering Design Software Proficiency: Skilled in using tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and STAAD
for drafting, modeling, and structural analysis.
3 Project Scheduling & Execution: Ability to plan and track civil work activities using project
management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) to meet deadlines and quality benchmarks.
4 Site Surveying & Planning: Ability to conduct site assessments and translate findings into actionable
construction plans.
5 Reporting & Documentation: Prepares technical reports and maintains documentation to support
project tracking and stakeholder communication.
6 Site Health & Safety Compliance: Applies HSE principles to maintain safe working environments and
reduce risks during execution.
Qualifications:
Education A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field aligned with telecom or
infrastructure development.
Experience
0-1 year of experience in civil work.
Experience in telecom-related civil infrastructure such as excavation, ducting,
foundations, and structural installations.
Certificates
Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) – AutoCAD | Autodesk Civil 3D Certification |
Microsoft Certified: MS Project | Oracle Primavera P6 Professional Certification is
preferred.
Language Fluency in the English language (Written & Spoken).
