eSIM products. This includes delivering a seamless customer experience, ensuring efficient use of resources,
and maintaining alignment with the company’s strategic goals. The senior specialist will oversee SIM profile
definition, numbering plan management (including pricing and recycling), SIM stock control, and the
implementation and ongoing management of eSIM solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Analyze SIM and eSIM profile requirements by interpreting commercial, technical, and regulatory
inputs to define logical and technical parameters that enable reliable service activation across
products and devices.
2. Track SIM profile changes and configurations across systems in coordination with Network and IT
teams to maintain consistency throughout the SIM lifecycle.
3. Develop and maintain structured numbering plans (MSISDN, IMSI, number categories) by analyzing
utilization trends, recycling rates, and forecasted demand.
4. Analyze numbering consumption, aging, and recycling performance to identify inefficiencies and
recommend corrective adjustments to policies and allocation rules.
5. Contribute to developing SIM and eSIM pricing structures by evaluating cost drivers, competitive
benchmarks, and number-category value propositions.
6. Track SIM stock levels, aging, and movement across warehouses and channels by analyzing demand
forecasts and historical consumption patterns.
7. Diagnose SIM stock variances, slow-moving inventory, and obsolescence risks, and propose
corrective actions in coordination with supply chain and logistics teams.
8. Analyze eSIM capability requirements and platform readiness to support digital provisioning,
lifecycle control, and scalability.
9. Track eSIM lifecycle performance (provisioning success, profile downloads, suspension and swaps)
and identify root causes of failures or delays.
10. Communicate SIM and eSIM lifecycle insights, risks, and improvement recommendations through
structured reports and dashboards to relevant stakeholders.
11. Research industry trends, GSMA standards, and regulatory updates related to SIM, eSIM, and
numbering resources.
12. Act as a subject matter reference by advising commercial, technical, and operational teams on SIM
and eSIM constraints, dependencies, and best practices.
Behavioral Competencies:
1. Communication: Clearly conveys SIM, eSIM, and numbering insights to technical and non-technical
stakeholders through concise reports, dashboards, and discussions that support effective
decision-making.
2. Analytical Thinking: Applies structured and critical analysis to complex, multi-source data to identify
patterns, risks, and improvement opportunities, translating insights into practical, actionable
recommendations.
3. Collaboration: Works cross-functionally with commercial, technical, and operational teams to align
activities across the SIM and eSIM lifecycle and ensure coordinated, timely outcomes.
4. Problem Solving: Identifies root causes of operational, system, or process issues by evaluating
multiple variables and proposing effective, data-driven solutions within established frameworks.
5. Business & Commercial Awareness: Demonstrates understanding of how technical and operational
decisions influence revenue, cost efficiency, resource utilization, and customer experience.
6. Getting Things Done: demonstrates strong ownership and discipline in planning, prioritizing, and
following through on commitments, delivering output accurately and on time despite dependencies
and constraints.
Technical Competencies:
1. SIM & eSIM Lifecycle Management: Expertise in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of physical SIM and
eSIM profiles, including provisioning, activation, suspension, recycling, and retirement across systems.
2. Numbering Plan & Resource Management (MSISDN / IMSI): Strong knowledge of numbering plan
structures, allocation logic, utilization tracking, recycling policies, and regulatory constraints related to
MSISDN and IMSI resources.
3. eSIM Platforms & Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP): Technical understanding of eSIM platforms, remote
SIM provisioning models, GSMA-based standards, and digital profile lifecycle controls.
4. SIM Inventory & Stock Analytics: Capability to analyze SIM stock data across procurement,
warehousing, aging, and distribution to identify demand patterns, inefficiencies, and obsolescence
risks.
5. Data Analysis & Performance Reporting: Proficiency in analyzing SIM and eSIM lifecycle KPIs and
translating data into structured reports, dashboards, and insights for decision support.
6. Telecommunications Systems & Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of telecom network
concepts, system dependencies, and regulatory requirements affecting SIM usage, numbering, and
digital provisioning.
Qualifications:
