Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to support, enhance, and optimize Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM modules
within the live production environment, while also contributing to new SCM initiatives and implementation
projects as needed. The role involves analyzing business requirements, configuring and recommending
effective functional solutions, resolving complex application issues, and providing ongoing user support. It
also requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to improve process efficiency, strengthen
controls, and drive system adoption.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Analyze and resolve complex, business‑critical issues across Oracle Fusion SCM modules by diagnosing
root causes spanning configuration, data, process design, and integration.
2. Determine and recommend optimal Oracle Fusion SCM functional solutions for new requirements,
regulatory changes, or operational challenges.
3. Evaluate end-to-end SCM processes (Procurement to Pay, Inventory, Receiving, Supplier Management)
to identify efficiency gaps, control weaknesses, and automation opportunities.
4. Influence functional configuration standards, design approaches, and best practices for Oracle Fusion
SCM within the organization.
5. Lead expert-level functional activities such as fit-gap analysis, CRP, SIT, UAT, go-live, and hypercare for
SCM initiatives and enhancements.
6. Diagnose recurring or systemic ERP issues and recommend strategic fixes rather than short-term
workarounds.
7. Advise business leaders, process owners, and IT stakeholders on system capabilities, limitations, and
trade-offs of Oracle Fusion SCM solutions.
8. Mentor functional analysts and support team members by sharing expertise, reviewing designs, and
guiding problem-solving approaches.
9. Analyze Oracle quarterly updates, assess their impact on existing configurations and processes, and
recommend necessary adaptations.
10. Collaborate with technical, integration, and Finance teams to address complex cross-module and ERP
integration scenarios.
11. Develop and maintain reusable knowledge assets such as solution patterns, configuration guidelines,
and functional playbooks.
12. Represent ERP SCM expertise in cross-enterprise initiatives, audits, or transformation programs
requiring deep functional insight.

Technical Competencies:
1. Oracle Fusion SCM Functional Mastery: Applies advanced, hands-on expertise across Oracle
Fusion SCM modules (Procurement, Supplier Management, Sourcing, Contracts, Inventory,
Receiving) to diagnose issues and design optimal functional solutions.
2. Complex Issue Diagnosis & Resolution: Diagnoses complex production issues by analyzing
configuration, transactional data, integrations, and process logic to determine root causes and
long-term solutions.
3. End-to-End SCM Process Optimization: Evaluates and optimizes end-to-end SCM business
processes (Procure-to-Pay, Inventory, Receiving, Supplier Lifecycle) using ERP capabilities and best
practices.
4. Functional Solution Design & Configuration Standards: Defines and applies functional design
patterns, configuration standards, and best practices to guide implementations and
enhancements.
5. ERP Integration & Cross-Module Expertise: Applies deep understanding of integration points
between SCM modules and Finance, Projects, or external systems to support end-to-end
transaction integrity.
6. Testing, Change Impact & Release Management (Functional): Leads functional testing activities
(CRP, SIT, UAT), assesses quarterly update impacts, and manages change implications on business
operations.
Qualifications:
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information
Systems, or a related field.
Experience
6-8 years of experience in ERP SCM, including strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM
support and enhancement activities. Experience in implementation or rollout projects is an advantage.
Certificates
Oracle Fusion SCM certification is preferred. Knowledge of SQL, OTBI, BI Publisher, and functional testing
methodologies is an advantage.
Language Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
