Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to contribute to the execution of accurate and timely financial
transactions. This role involves administering payments, reconciling accounts, and auditing expenses in
alignment with organizational policies and regulatory standards. Additionally, analyze and resolve financial
discrepancies, develop insightful reports, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize billing and payment
operations. Moreover, safeguard financial data integrity and contribute to strategic decision-making by
ensuring compliance, transparency, and operational excellence across the payment lifecycle.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Execute approved payments using appropriate methods, ensuring compliance with financial policies
and procedures.
2. Maintain timely and accurate payments to beneficiaries by resolving purchase order, contract,
invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation to minimize delays and errors
3. Prepare and submit weekly summaries of all processed payments to support financial transparency
and reporting.
4. Audit employee expense records, verify documentation and ensure adherence to company policies.
5. Reconcile safes and staff clearance allowances, ensuring accurate financial tracking.
6. Notify relevant staff and management to facilitate timely clearance of outstanding cash advances.
7. Safeguard confidential financial information to protect organizational integrity.
8. Allocate expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice and expense
reports.
9. Monitor and reconcile actual vs. book balances of expense bank accounts to maintain financial
accuracy and liquidity.
10. Identify and resolve discrepancies in bank records, analyze trends, and recommend corrective
actions to mitigate financial risks.
11. Review financial transactions for completeness and accuracy, ensuring readiness for audits and
compliance checks.
12. Develop detailed financial reports for management, highlighting key insights to support strategic
decision-making.
13. Support billing processes by collecting payments from clients and coordinating with relevant
departments to ensure accurate invoices.
14. Maintain compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements
throughout the payment lifecycle.
15. Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to resolve billing issues and maintain smooth
payment operations.

1. Payment Processing & Billing Support: Execute payment transactions and assist in billing
operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial policies.
2. Ledger and Reconciliation Practices: Apply standard ledger management techniques and perform
regular bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and actual account
balances.
3. Accounting Standards: Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
4. Financial Analysis: Analyze payment data and trends to support decision-making, risk mitigation,
and process improvements.
5. Business Acumen: Understand the financial impact of payment operations within the broader
business context to align actions with organizational goals.
6. Internal Controls and Compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with financial policies,
procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the payment lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Education A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in cash payments, payable account, and general
ledger
• Experience working with ERP systems and financial software is highly desirable.
• Prior exposure to internal controls and compliance processes is a plus.
Certificates Certified Management Accountant (CMA)| Certified Public Accountant (CPA) | Certified
Treasury Professional (CTP)| Oracle Financials Cloud Certification are preferred.
