Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to manage all litigation and dispute resolution activities for Sudatel
Group and its local operator (Sudani) to mitigate legal risks and uphold the Group’s legal integrity. Oversee
all legal proceedings and coordinate with external counsel to ensure effective representation. Additionally,
recommend strategic legal actions and implement process improvements that enhance legal governance,
support organizational resilience, and contribute to long-term business objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Advise Sudatel Group and its local operator (Sudani) on local and foreign legal matters and any
arising liabilities. coordinating with Legal Support to ensure sound legal guidance, resulting in
reduced legal risk and enhanced compliance across operations.
2. Oversee litigation and ADR processes, monitor progress, and manage coordination with external
counsel to ensure accurate representation, leading to favorable legal outcomes and protection of
the company’s interests.
3. Participate in preparing and reviewing regulatory dispute submissions with the Regulatory Relations
Department, ensuring timely, compliant, and strategic responses to regulatory challenges.
4. Manage investigations into internal disputes and violations, recommend appropriate actions,
and ensure execution of legal proceedings or settlements, resulting in effective resolution and
reinforcement of internal governance.
5. Recommend legal strategies in collaboration with Legal Support and ensure their implementation
by relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and consistent legal
execution.
6. Serve as a focal point to manage relationships with external legal partners to ensure alignment with
litigation responsibilities, enhancing service quality, responsiveness, and legal efficiency.
7. Propose litigation processes and training initiatives with senior legal leadership to enhance legal
awareness and risk management, resulting in improved organizational preparedness and reduced
exposure to legal liabilities.
8. Establish and maintain a legal database in coordination with Legal Support, ensuring secure,
organized access to legal records that support informed decision-making.
9. Undertake legal development training to stay current in litigation and advisory practices, enhancing
legal expertise and maintaining high-quality counsel.
10. Support the Chief Legal Officer in executing litigation-related responsibilities, ensuring continuity,
efficiency, and strategic alignment in legal operations.
11. Perform additional legal duties as required, providing flexible support to meet evolving
organizational legal needs.

Qualifications:
Education A bachelor’s degree in law is required. A master’s in a related field is preferred
Experience 8-10 Years in legal practice, minimum of 3 years in a managerial position.
Certificates A license to practice law in Sudan is required.
Language Fluency in English and Arabic (written & spoken).
