Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to manage the availability, reliability, and performance of enterprise
cloud and infrastructure services to support business continuity. This role involves leading the design,
improvement, and governance of cloud, virtualization, and infrastructure platforms. Additionally, optimize
operational efficiency through automation, standardization, and best-practice implementation. Moreover,
enable seamless service delivery by collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with
SLAs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Administer and support enterprise infrastructure systems, including server platforms, operating
systems, and hardware deployments.
2. Manage system performance, availability, upgrades, and incident resolution in line with SLAs and
ITIL best practices.
3. Design, implement, and operate virtualized and cloud platforms including VMware vSphere/VCF,
Nutanix HCI, and Red Hat OpenShift.
4. Automate infrastructure provisioning and operations using Ansible, Terraform, and Red Hat Satellite,
and develop SOPs for repeatable processes.
5. Support Linux and Windows systems, container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes), and enterprise
storage (SAN, NAS, iSCSI).
6. Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions using Veritas NetBackup and DR frameworks.
7. Provide infrastructure monitoring and logging using ELK stack and performance optimization tools.
8. Support enterprise Microsoft services, including Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, DHCP, and Group
Policy.
9. Maintain server hardware environments, including Huawei and HP platforms.
10. Collaborate on root cause analysis, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives
across infrastructure operations.
11. Participate in the design, implementation, and management of workload automation initiatives.
12. Adhere to firm Change Management and Problem Management policies, and familiarity with ITIL or
other formalized IT operations foundations.
13. Write SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) to accomplish repetitive tasks.
14. Coach and mentor team members develop their technical capabilities, supporting knowledge
growth, and reinforcing operational excellence within the infrastructure team.

Technical Competencies:
1. Operating Systems Administration: Deep expertise in managing and troubleshooting
Windows/Linux servers (e.g., Red Hat, and Ubuntu).
2. Cloud Infrastructure Management: Proficient in deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud-based
solutions to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
3. Virtualization and Containerization: Expertise in virtualization technologies and container
orchestration platforms
4. Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Ability to monitor system and application performance and
address bottlenecks.
5. Backup and Disaster Recovery: Proficiency in backup solutions and designing disaster recovery plans
for cloud and Linux systems.
6. Automation and Scripting: Strong ability to automate repetitive tasks and streamline operations.
7. Troubleshooting and Incident Response: Strong diagnostic skills for resolving incidents in cloud and
Linux environments.
Qualifications:
Education
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related
technical field.
• A master’s degree in Information Systems, Cloud Computing, or a related discipline.
Experience
• 6 – 8 years’ experience as an expert or equivalent in an advanced enterprise-class IT
environment, with hands-on experience in mid to large infrastructure, and
Containerization-based solutions, with 2 years of experience in a managerial role.
• Experience in shell/Python scripting with at least one shell under Linux.
Certificates RHCE | MCSE |VMware VCP| AWS Solutions Architect | Azure Administrator | or other
relevant cloud| infrastructure credentials are preferred.
Language Fluency in English (Written& Spoken).
